Time flies really fast, Christmas just right around the corner. I so love holiday season for I get to cook all my favorite dish. I can’t wait for Christmas to get here, so I can do my cooking again and have good dinner with my husband and friends. I am looking forward to make French toast casserole for dessert this Christmas. A friend of mine told me about it. I have not tried it before but when I was searching online, I found it looks delicious that makes me want to try right now.

….no update here huh? Yep, I have no update on all of my blogs because of my crazy schedule at work. It’s really struggled for me to balance my time between work and blogging not to mention I have a husband wants my attention. As you can see I have been neglecting my blogs and my blogging lately, and I also felt betrayed when my two blogs got evicted from triple P. Cherry Trifle Cake

This is my first time ever heard this kind of cake. I have never ever tried this one yet, but just the heck of it I’m going to try to bake it when I have the time. That’s my idea, instead of buying the one that already cooked, I’d rather try to make of my own. Truthfully that’s the only way I can learn something new for trying. Anyway this cake looks good and hopefully it’ll taste good when I try to bake it. You know there are certain foods that it taste better than it looks. I am not quitter though, when I try to bake something and if I won’t do it right the first time, I just keep trying until I did it they way supposed to be. Ingredients:

1/2 cup cherry or orange juice*
1 6-ounce carton (2/3 cup) cherry-vanilla or desired flavor yogurt
1 9-1/2-inch tart-shaped sponge cake or 8 individual sponge cakes or shortcakes
1/4 of an 8-ounce container frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
2 cups fresh light or dark sweet cherries, such as Rainer or Bing


Steps:
1. Place cake(s) on a serving platter; sprinkle with juice. Set aside.

2. In a small mixing bowl stir together whipped topping and yogurt; spread onto cake(s). Cover and chill for up to 2 hours.

3. Before serving, remove stems from cherries; halve and remove pits. Arrange cherries, cut side down, on top of the yogurt mixture. Makes 8 servings.

4. Make-Ahead Tip: Spread yogurt mixture over cake. Cover and chill for up to 2 hours. Add cherries before serving.

5. *Note: If you wish to put some sherry in a cherry dessert, substitute 2 to 4 tablespoons of cream sherry for an equal amount of the fruit juice.

My PR is Back Finally

….I really thought my PR was gone but when I checked it earlier is back. Wow! I just can’t believe it that I have it back right now. But too sad this blog is no longer able to get some opps from triple P. it didn’t passed the overall quality so it has been removed already. Anyway it`s really no big deal because I honestly was struggling to maintain with 3 blogs. I can barely manage one, and of course I have no idea what I was thinking created those three. What can I say….. Its done and nothing I can do about it but to move on. At least I still have one blog on my P account that passed the standards for overall high quality, and thanks to them for considering my one blog.

MY PR is GONE

….you know this is just crazy, when I open this blog earlier still has PR on it, and now its gone all of a sudden. I think G hates me for some reason, because I had it only a couple months and they took it back. I just can’t believe it, but oh well I don’t really need it. I can definitely live without it but it’s nice to have PR at least just one blog since I have 3. But anyway I can’t complain because I have no control over it.

Just My Venting

…If you all have noticed yesterday the triple P was having problem with their system. My PR was gone and I thought about it, I was like darn they take it away from me that I only have it for a few weeks! I did some pr checking see if the resultthe same, but to my surprised still there, only the triple P has the problem. Its back now though and I’m so happy because I am able to grab some opps this morning for this blog. Yesterday wasn’t a good day for me, no opps to catch and no PR and it was just a bummer huh? There is nothing I can do about it but just stay in the computer and doing something else rather than not doing anything at all.
